2014-10-01On Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at approximately 1630 at station 2, the driver was assigned this customer. The customer stated that he needed a credit card taxi. When he asked the driver, the driver stated "I can't accept credit card."10/2/14 0950 Driver admits that he did tell the customer that "I can't accept credit card." He explained that his card reader was broken. But he stated that he did have manual slips but was going to enter it manually on his phone. Unfortunately, because he misspoke, the customer asked where the ATM was and went to go to the HA baggage claim for cash. Driver suspended for violation of Rule 24: Code of Conduct/Driver Qualifications/Vehicle Standards from Sunday, October 5, 2014 0600 until Tuesday, October 7, 2014 0559. Driver may return to work on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 0600.
2014-10-14On Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at approximately 1436, the customer needed to go to Tripler. The driver told the dispatcher (at station 4) that he didn't know where Tripler was. Driver said he would put it in his GPS, but after a few minutes, the customer came out of his car and said that she wouldn't ride with him because he doesn't know where Tripler is.Driver to be suspended for violation of Rule 15:Refusal of Load. Driver is to be suspended Thursday, October 16, 2014 0600 until Saturday, October 18, 2014 0559. Driver may return to work on Saturday, October 18, 2014 0600.
2014-10-23On Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at approximately 1700-1800, driver took a customer to HHV. Customer stated "the driver was absolutely terrible when it came to the payment." "The driver wanted me to leave cash, but I wanted to pay with card."10/23/14 1430 - Driver stated that it was raining and he just wanted the cash and get out of there. Informed him that according to the Code of Conduct he is supposed to accept the forms of payment that is listed and not give the customers a hard time about paying with credit card. Informed driver that he was in violation of Rule 17: Customer Complaints. Driver to be suspended Friday, October 24, 2014 0600 until Sunday, October 26, 2014 0559. Driver may return to work on Sunday, October 26, 2014 0600.
2014-11-30Took taxi to my residence. Told dispatcher and driver I was paying by credit card. When we got to my destination, the lady driver just grunted and groaned and said her credit card machine is broken. This is not the first time this happened.Driver brought credit card machine to office. Found dead battery and replaced battery. Driver in violation of Rule 17 - Customer Complaint. 48 hours suspension and 2 points issued.
2014-12-04On 12/4/14, complainant stated that she gave the driver the address of the Marriage License Office but driver kept driving around. Complainant stated that the driver took pictures of them and was very scared. She wanted them immediately deleted when she met with the driver in our office.12/4/14 Explained to the driver that he cannot take pictures without asking first. 2013-01-07Taxicab driver refused to take a load to a restaurant in Moanalua Shopping Center.Driver is in violation of Rule 18: Refusal of Load. Driver assessed a first time offense of a 48 suspension.
2013-04-15Taxi driver states his vehicle cannot make it up to Aiea Heights and thereby refusing a load.Violation of Rule 18 - Refusal of Load(s). Suspended for 48 hours. Explained to driver that he must have his vehicle diagnosed and fixed before returning to work.
2013-04-29Customer wanted to sit in front seat with window open. Driver had materials on the front seat and did not want to remove them for customer to sit. Told customer to sit in the back seat.Violation of Rule 14 - Minimum/Maximum Seating and Trunk Space. Driver not allowed to refuse seating in any non-driver seat available. Driver suspended for 48 hours.
2013-07-16Driver yelling at everybody, accusing dispatcher of switching loads, discriminating against load, not following procedures.Driver is in violation of Rule 13-Unethical Practices. Driver suspended for one week and 2 points.
